Case- Reports/Abstract Guidelines

FORUM TOPICS

We are looking for presentations that cover a wide range of topics related to veterinary interventional radiology and endoscopy, including but not limited to:

Innovative techniques and approaches in interventional procedures
Patient safety and best practices in IE and IR
Case studies emphasizing successful interventions
Dissemination about complications in IR/IE
IE and IR educational initiatives and tips

CASE REPORTS

Format at the forum: 5 min oral presentation in person
Eligible work: case report
Exclusion: case report containing any form of advertisement will be rejected
Submission format: word document including the title, the authors, a brief abstract (250 words max), and the speakers’ biographies (150 words max).

ABSTRACTS

Format at the forum: 15 min oral presentation in person
Eligible work: case series, clinical trials, preliminary results from ongoing trials are encouraged
Exclusion: Abstracts containing any form of advertisement will be rejected
Submission format: word document including the title, the authors, a brief abstract (250 words max), and the speakers’ biographies (150 words max).

EVALUATION AND DECISION

All proposal for plenary session and research reports will be evaluated by the VIRIES Scientific Merit Review committee members using the following criteria: scientific content, experimental design, animal welfare, and relevance to Veterinary Interventional Radiology or Interventional Endoscopy. The corresponding author will be notified about the decision before April 30th, 2025.
